NameCheap Description
NameCheap is an ICANN accredited domain registrar that was started up in 2000. Millions of domains are registered using their service every year. They’ve also opened up a new web hosting service to webmasters but are mostly known for their registration service which has received awards for customer support and competitive prices.
NameCheap Detailed Overview
Throughout the years, I’ve used different companies to register my domains. I noticed that some companies charged way too much for domain registration and always charged you additional fees for privacy, domain transfers, and other features. Out of the different companies I used, NameCheap is one of the few that really stands out.
Like other registrars, you can search for available domain names and extensions. But what I like about NameCheap is that they offer you information on domains that are already taken such as the expiration date and where to buy the domain. The thing that makes me think NameCheap really cares for their customers is that they actually help you sell your domain in their marketplace. You can put a domain you don’t want without any insane broker fees or hassle.
The user experience with NameCheap is amongst the best. The interface is so clean and easy to use. You can set passwords for your domains, manage the DNS, set custom name servers, and more. The DNS seems to update and connect with your host faster than 3 other services I’ve used which is a huge plus. I hate waiting for the domain to be set when I want to get my site up and running fast.
For such a great service, they only charge $8.88 per domain (discounted to $7.95 per year if you register for 3 years). It’s possible to find registrars that offer better pricing but in my opinion, NameCheap offers better customer support and is more reliable. You can also pay via Paypal instead of credit card.
They recently added WhoisGuard to protect your private information. This will protect your email from spam as well as hide your telephone and address. It’s free for one domain, $4.88/yr for 2 domains, and $7.88 for 5 domains. Their rate is incredibly cheap compared to other companies that offer privacy protection. You’ll often see rates ranging from $7-$9.99 for one domain.
A handy feature is the bulk update tool. Rather than make changes to one domain only, you can set all your. The fact that NameCheap doesn’t charge you a transfer fee is a big plus in my book (you just need to add an extra year subscription). Many companies charge you anywhere from $10-$30 to transfer domains. There are no transfer fees on your way out either. Other features they offer are free email forwarding, free URL forwarding, real time DNS servers, custom parking page, and registrar lock.
Now I want to talk about their web hosting. This is a relatively new service they have added. They offer regular Shared Hosting, VPS Hosting, Business Hosting, and Reseller accounts. I’m going to talk about their shared hosting plans as it will probably be what most people will use.
They use Cpanel and support PHP 4/5, SSH, Perl, Ruby on Rails, and cron jobs. They also offer various scripts such as Fantastico, a site builder, a forum script, shopping cart scripts, and CMS scripts. All these features definitely match the top web hosts in the business which means that NameCheap is taking their hosting service seriously.
Everything seemed okay but I did see flaws in their hosting plans. The basic hosting costs $39.95/year and offers 5GB disk space, 250GB bandwidth, 15 subdomains, and 1 hosting domains. Their pro hosting plan costs $6.95/month or $69.95/year and offers 100GB disk space, 1000GB bandwidth, unlimited subdomains, and 20 hosted domains. Finally, the preferred hosting plan is $13.95/month or $139.95/year and offers 200GB diskspace, 2000GB bandwidth, unlimited subdomains, and 100 hosted domains.
Most people will opt for the pro hosting plan but there are many web hosts out there that offer unlimited domains/bandwidth/diskspace for similar prices. For someone that doesn’t need all that NameCheap is a great choice but because I have dozens of domains and upload a lot of files on my servers.
Their servers seem to be pretty fast and they have set up a solid hosting infrastructure so it stays that way. Third party tests reveal that their up time is on par with the best hosting companies at 99.1%. The more established companies seem to have slightly better uptime but NameCheap doesn’t have any problems as far as keeping your website running.
The one highlight about NameCheap seems to be their customer support. You can use the Knowledgebase for simple problems or submit a ticket if you need to reach them. They respond on the same day and have trained staff to help you with your request. You can also use live support to get a response in real time. The most I had to wait was 4 minutes in order to get somebody to help me.

NameCheap Reputation
To sum up, NameCheap is one of the best companies to register your domain with. Customers have rated NameCheap as the best registrar across many review sites. I personally found that the free whois privacy feature (for the first domain) they offer is very valuable.
NameCheap’s hosting service also seems solid as they have very good customer support, uptime, and run on fast servers. My only complaint is that they offer limited hosted domains for all their plans. They do have limits on the disk space and bandwidth but provide enough so that the average person won’t run out. Both of their services are top quality and highly recommended but you can probably find a better web host provider. Many people may want to just get their hosting from NameCheap to manage everything from one service.

Great & Cheap Website Host

There are lots of popular website hosts out there, but Namecheap is something I actually use. It provides a fast and efficient website that you could fully customize in any way you would like. You could get a cheap domain name too, which really brings out the creativity. Overall this website host is great and I recommend it as a primary option.

A great deal overall!

Wow, when I first saw this website I thought it was pure BS, but it turns out that it is actually quite good. It is extremely easy to register your own domain within 5 minutes, and it is amazingly affordable. I used this service just the other day and I have my new website up and running, there is hardly any domain lag time or nameserver redirecting. If the time ever comes that you wish to cancel your domain, canceling it is just as easy as setting it up. There is no cancelation fee and you can even get a refund on certain circumstances. A great deal overall.

Cheap and Easy

The domains are cheaper than most other providers. The selling is also not very complicated. It is easy to use and user-friendly. I have transferred many domains from namecheap. It is overall a nice service. The reliability is also high. It has been in business for quite some time now. I would recommend to use it.

This website helps you to register a domain in this website

You can easily sell and buy domains in this website. You have to understand the interface. The pricing is cheaper than godaddy.com. It has many features including url forwarding and management control. Customer support from this is only through email. But this site provides good customer support. It has excellent web hosting services. I recommend every one to register to namecheap.com

Registrar of choice

Of all the domain name registrars, NameCheap would have to be my favorite. As of January 2013, all websites I actively maintain ("do everything"), all have domains registered at Namecheap. The payment process is very smooth, they notify you of any domains that are about to expire, they offer free Whois Guard for the first year (has to be renewed for a small fee afterwards, or the Whois Guard subscription can be discontinued). If you're looking for a good domain registrar, NameCheap would be my first recommendation. They also offer UK and US-based web hosting, as well as reseller hosting, VPSs and dedicated servers, however I have no experience with those - so I'll stay away from them in my review.

Good host with good support

Using this website to buy domains since one year and never had problems with them. All my orders were quickly treated and always got what I ordered. Last week had one problem buying a .me domain name. I contacted the support and 12 hours later got a response and they resolved my problem. Great website!

Buy domains from namecheap

They are quick, effective and supply WHOIS safeguard along with all of your site buys and that's for free. Establishing name servers has been simple too. There is a movie guide which lets you know the actual actions to setup name servers, forwarding your own site to a different site and how you can move domain names.

I've utilized NameCheap for my personal domain names since I have been making money online. Their own website is simple to get around, as well as their support is excellent! We will always be happy using their support as well as suggest NameCheap for anybody getting started within online marketing.

Namecheap is recognized as among the best site registrars and offers excellent support.

Terrible customer service

TERRIBLE! Here’s my recent exchange with a CSR at Namecheap:

14:05Roman G: At the moment, your IP address is unblocked and DKIM record is enabled.

14:09Joe Allen: yes, we are functioning again, but since this has happened three times in the past three days, I have no confidence that we will not continue to have this issue. I need the transfer code and refund of 10 months of hosting

14:10Joe Allen: something as basic as email should not require four hours a week dealing with hosting’s poor reputation due to spam and blocking of IP addresses. We have far more valuable things to do with our time.

14:10Joe Allen: referral code and refund please

14:11Roman G: We are very sorry for the inconvenience you have faced. Unfortunately, refund for hosting package is possible only within 14 days after the hosting purchase.

14:12Joe Allen: And unfortunately Namecheap is in breach of contract for failure to provide adquate service.

14:13Joe Allen: adequate service

14:13Joe Allen: If necessary I will be contacting our credit card company to report fraud and posting negative reviews through multiple customer review avenues if necessary

14:14Joe Allen: Namecheap was paid based on an agreement that namecheap failed to uphold their side of the contract. We are not liable for namecheap’s failure to uphold their side of the contract

14:15Joe Allen: referral code and refund will be required.

14:15Roman G: The refund is provided within 14 days after the hosting purchase.

14:16Roman G: This is our policy.

14:16Joe Allen: Then fraud will be reported to our credit card company

14:16Joe Allen: referral code

14:16Roman G: In case you would like to transfer your domain, I will transfer our chat conversation to the correspondent department.

14:17Joe Allen: reporting fraud for breach of contract is my policy

In short, they are used by spammers and their poor server reputation leads to our corporate emails being blocked by many of our customers. Then after changing ISP’s, our ISP’s IP address was blocked every eight hours by their email servers with no apparent cause or remedy other than contacting them via chat (there is no customer service phone number listed). I requested refund for our final 10 months of service due to breach of contract for failure to provide consistent hosting. They refused refund and we have reported them for fraud to our credit card comapany. Needless to say, we are changing our company hosting today and are strongly discouraging anyone against using namecheap.

Best Domain Registrar

I got into Domain Flipping Business few months back. NameCheap was new to me. I never had any experience with Domain or Hosting, but it was surprisingly easy.

They're fast, efficient and provide WHOIS guard with all your domain purchases and that is absolutely free. Setting up nameservers was easy as well. There's a video tutorial of 1 minute that tells you the steps to set up nameservers, forwarding your domain to another domain and most importantly how to transfer domains.

Everything was a breeze. Take my word. This may be the new kid on the block but go after it. You will not be disappointed.

Best domain name registrar

You will never have any problem once you use their service. These guys just make it as easy as 1, 2, 3. Easy to use interface, the suggestion tool helps a lot if your domain name is already registered by somebody else.

Multiple payment gateway options make it very easy to check out quickly.

Great alternative, from godaddy

You can see theres quite a few "A`s" and it's for a valid reason. Fees as mentioned earlier, are similar with domain names. But, their customer service is really on point here.

I think most who are in that business should follow their service.

Note: If your too lazy to find valid godaddy promo codes, just go here, but the price is roughly around the same.

I'm happy to tell others about Namecheap

Two months ago, I bought a domain name from Namecheap. I love Namecheap. It's service is great. It's fees are not different than other domain name sites but still, I feel very comfortable with it's services and sometimes, it's discount :D

My friend told me about this site, and I’m now happy to tell others about it too.

I buy my domains from namecheap

I recently bought a domain from namecheap and I have to say that so far it has been a pleasure. The company does live up to it's name by providing domain names cheaper than the competition. I bought my domain for 3.99 which was a pretty good buy for me, and with namecheap you also have an easy interface for transferring name servers if you need to. Also they make it pretty easy for you to forward and mask domains as well. All in all I like the service!

NameCheap Is Super Best

I love NameCheap, because when I was cash strapped, I got a URL there for only $1.99. Later, I even deposited money in their portal and it was all safe till I used it. Their customer service is very okay and I learned a lot about setting up a new web address with outside host.

I have been using the experience I had with them to benefit myself from other domain registrars.

Great way if you want a domain name, but don't want to go overboard

I used this program a couple times, it really does out shoot other sites that make domain names. Reason why? because this basically tells it all through the titles. It is a very cheap and reliable source to go to for making domain names. I couldn't believe the prices when I saw it for the first time. After I went to this one, if I ever want to make another site, I will never go to another site to buy domain names because this site had me sold from the get go. Please go to this site, it is cheap and reliable and saves you cash!

Namecheap an alternative to godaddy

Namecheap provides an excellent domain registration service, in addition to being accredited as ICANN and also accept payments paypal. As for the price of the domains, they are very affordable in addition to having an affiliate program.

Namecheap is considered one of the best domain registrars and most importantly has very good reviews about the service they provide.

One of the best and cheapest available

After my experience with many name registering services, I should say namecheap is so far the best in terms of price. Why ? Because, even if the other registering services might sound cheap, they come along with some hidden charges down the lane after you make the purchase.

Also, another good thing is that it has very minimal setup requirements and totally user friendly even for the very nominal computer user. I had 2 names bought for my younger siblings, and they have mastered the art of name registration in no time.

I would rate it a B only because it lacks a bit on customer service. I'm not a total geek to know everything by myself, and I would definitely appreciate some customer support from their end.

Thanks :)

After months of trying to start a website - NameCheap got me up

NameCheap is a fantastic web hosting company. I spent months trying to start a website, but nothing seemed right. Then I stumbled upon NameCheap. They gave me so many options and had deals and plans just for my situation. I bought a domain for a very low price, and in a few days my website was up and running. I started my blog and from then it has skyrocketed to thousands of views every day. NameCheap is truly a fantastic company.

The Best Domain Registrar Around

Name cheap is the best domain name registering service you will ever come across. It is pretty straight forward and easy to start with. The most good thing is that it has no up-sells like Godaddy has which is very annoying and has a simple and user-friendly interface too. I have had my domains registered on other registrars too but since I recently registered with namecheap with 2 domains and I found that namecheap is the best and the quickest among all. It also provides free 'WhoisGaurd' service which protects our domain from hackers and spammers. I guarantee that the domain purchased from namecheap as the name suggests will be much cheaper than other registrars. To check that search a domain name with another registrar first & note down it's price then search with namecheap and you will find that it provides the best economical offer. Totally awesome.

Better than some others

I recently started using NameCheap and I gotta say, you get what you see. It's cheaper than some other Domain Transfers, $8.88 for the entire year and they've got everything set up. I found everything really easy to use and navigate through. One feature that I would like to point out is their function to block Whois, for only $2 a year you can protect your Domain information from others. Their price is unbeatable, their service is amazing too. I've been skeptical about using my credit card online because I have been charged for things I did not buy which made me more cautious on whether I should use my card or not. Thankfully they have Paypal which now I can safely process my payment yearly over to Namecheap.

I Used them because they were cheap.. I got almost what I wanted

Namecheap is one of the worst of the registrars I have used.

I have over 75 domains registered and have used 3 others.

They may be ICANN accredited, but the domains I have registered through them show "ICANN Registrar: ENOM, INC. " Some changes I have made at Namecheap are delayed perhaps by communication latency between their servers and Enom's. On more than one occasion changes made at Namecheap have not been passed to Enom.

My recommendation is STAY AWAY. I might have saved a couple of dollars on registration fees, but the half hour wasted on more than one occasion makes it a bad deal as far as I am concerned.

Get a domain in a cheap way

I really love this site because the price is real cheap. get a .com domain for less than 10 dollars. It is very difficult to find that. I have used this site for the 2nd year and it works great. Because the price is reasonable, I'll give it an A and highly recommended.

An awesome domain registration site!

I own several domains that I purchased from them, and I really like the specials that they have from time to time! What I most of all like is that they do not charge for whois protection like most competitors. Other sites like this such as fatcow, bluehost don't provide free whois protection and you have to pay for it, and they overprice everything! Whats really awesome is that they provide cheap SSL (AES) protection for customers (and sometimes free!). I would highly recommend this registrar site to anyone who was going to go and purchase a domain.

Great Domain and Web Hosting company!

NameCheap is a great domain name and web hosting company that I recently started using due to the outrages payments I have been paying with other hosting companies. For me, personally, NameCheap is the best company out there. I got tired of using two different companies when I can do it all using the same service, NameCheap. I also use the domain name selling feature. I buy and sell domain names on NameCheap and generate income through profits. I have full domain control with NameCheap and they offer free WhoisGuard protection which is a big deal for me. NameCheap offers great customer service with same-day report backs. The user interface is extremely friendly.

I love this company!

Namecheap froze, then stole

I was searching to change hosts for my website and read many glowing reveiws that do not seem believable to me now. I should have been alerted when a prompt came up directly AFTER my purchase stating that each request is reviewed by a live person-well you now have my money, huh?!-and it could take as long as 6 hours. Actually try 13 and then my account, with no notification or refund and that I so carefully researched and built was frozen by a "fraud" department! For what, I had no explanation. Then they demanded a clear photocopy of my driver's license and a scanned copy of my credit card, both sides to consider unfreezing my access to my name and site... I tell the truth. I was receiving these communications from a Milla and a Nikita.. And "I" appear fraudulent. I tell them no way, refund me and take my business to Fatcow, however, my site is still in the grips of NAMECHEAP and they refuse to release it unless I do as I'm told by them. Lol, Let's see, they take my money, immediately freeze me out of my account, make ridiculous demands and hold my domain name, telling me it's my fault that I refused to give them what they wanted. HELL YEAH I DID!This feels like internet extortion to me.

This is the only domain name reg service I use

When I first got started online I used godaddy but I thought their management functions for my domains was poorly designed. I can't remember how I found out about namecheap but I started using them and found the customer service to be great. The thing that kept me with them though was how easy it was to transfer domain names to other namecheap account holders. I used to sell domain names so that feature really had me hooked. I don't do that anymore but stay with them because they just work really well. Here's a tip: If you're registering a new domain do a search on google for "namecheap coupon" and get new domains even cheaper.

NameCheap for My Domains

Two years ago I transferred the hosting of my website to a new host and decided that it would be advisable to use a different company to store my domains. I chose NameCheap as it was one that was recommended and their fees were very reasonable. It was painless moving my domains across and I found their service really good, especially as I am not particularly good with technology.

I have been using them ever since and have added some new domains there as well with the same good service. This is one aspect of my online business that I don't need to worry about.

NameCheap is the hosting provider which I admire, back in 2009 when I had started my first website. My first domain I had registered with namecheap and I was satisfied with it's services. Major drawback, they didn't have an unlimited plan. My site did well then, when started offering movie downloads I would exceed both the limits on bandwidth and disk space. I opted out and transferred my domain to another provider which provided unlimited service.

My experience with NameCheap was excellent but the service provided should be upgraded. An unlimited plan would really help them retain a lot of theirs customers.

A good feature and probably the best is that they do not charge for domain transfer, that's something you don't get to see these days.

You know, you could do better!

About one year ago I tried to transfer three domains over and it was the worst hassle of my life. All of the sites problems were basically thrown on me like I was some computer genius and knew how to do everything myself. Plus, every time I called customer service I had to wait like a whole hour before I could even get in. Then they just gave me some lame excuse, hanged up and left me to try and figure out the puzzle they had just given me. I do not recommend this to anyone because of it's horrible customer service and the way they expect you to come up with everything!

Best Domain Registrar I've Used

I used to use some other companies such as NetworkSolutions and 1&1 Internet to register domains, but I found the first to be too expensive but decent, and the second to have some real issues with service as well as tack-on fees that really added up.

I did a lot of research on forums and heard good things about NameCheap, both on price and service. I have now used NameCheap for years and haven't had any complaints. When I've had a question, I've submitted a ticket and gotten quick and good service.

They have some great promotions such as often free WhoIs Guard and sometimes even free SSL certificates for a year which was running at the time of this post.

Wise and Cheap to use Name Cheap

Initially I figured I would have to really pay attention to fine print but that was not the case. The registration process surprised me with it's simplicity. I was compelled to try this service because of the price of the products and the reviews that I read here. The FREE domain privacy was another reason. I am still under my budget and I recommend name cheap.

Just-ok but good service

My friend suggested me to be a member with name cheap, who was using this site. I was using odesk which was very complicated for me, therefore i registered with namecheap. Its payment via paypal is efficient and guaranteed. It is good because I registered up only in $1 and I'm earning via referring people. Even it is best for me because it costs only $2.99 per year.

Just great but could be better

I have been a user of NameCheap for more than two years already. I was and am still satisfied with their service.

Initially I was trying GoDaddy.com for I kept having problems with it's payment gateway that I ended up registering with NameCheap.

Registration of a domain with NameCheap is a breeze. Payment using Paypal is efficient. NameCheap also offers other services such as Whois protection.

Their rates are quite low and I even registered one of my .info domain names for only $1.99!

It has a very user-friendly interface and it is really easy to set up email and URL forwarding.

Namecheap sends email to update users about coming expiration of their domain names which is sweet. I highly recommend name cheap to anyone who wants to register a domain. I refuse to use any other Domain Name registration service now, like webs and wix.com. In my mind name cheap is hands down the best. With every domain name you get free domain privacy which in my opinion is reason enough to use only them. Registration is cheap. There's always a coupon code out there. The website also loads very fast. I've never had any problems with their service and customer service has always answered my requests within an hour.

I could never recommend NameCheap to anyone

Earlier this year I tried to transfer 2 domains from one registry to them. It was awful, and I ended up renewing one of them with the original registry.

Every problem was "my problem", nothing they could do. They told me to contact my email service and take off some kind of spam protection, temporarily, so their emails could be delivered to me. (Funny, I seem to have gotten their email newsletter okay until I unsubscribed.)

Every time I contacted their "customer service", I was put back at the bottom of the heap, a different person almost every time, and a different reason why this transfer could not get done.

I will never touch them again, nor recommend them to anyone. The least little problem and they are horrible.

Fast Processing and Nice Service

I have used NameCheap to buy domains as I really found it amazing and cheap. I usually use my credit card for payment and it's instant and fast, there is no interrupt. On the other hand, we can earn money using Namecheap by referring to friends and people. Now I have made $22 in referring people and eventually sold my domains. The most awesome thing is with the cheap domains (. info) for only $2.50 and I really felt pleased. And after some time, I received coupons in registering domains. Their webhosting service is too good. I bought Vps last month and still no downtime and runs very well. To those who are starting a website or hosting company, use namecheap as your partner.

Namecheap is the best domain registrar for me

From the time I started building websites online, I used to go with free hosting that provides you with subdomain to their services. I had a Paypal Account then but with no funds in it. I actually bought my first domain from a friend who is using namecheap as his domain registrar. When the time came that I am earning money and getting paid thru paypal, I asked my friend to give me access to the domain name I bought from him. And he told me to simply sign up for an account at namecheap and he would simply push the domain to my account. That simple. Later, using the namecheap's control panel, I realized that purchasing and administering your domains with namecheap is quite user-friendly to the point that up to this date, I constantly renew my domain with them and even purchase new domains.

What I love with namecheap is that there are no flying and floating ad banners to distract you when you are using their service and I highly recommend namecheap to all who are reading this.

I find Namecheap's service great

I have used three other registrars, but once I found Namecheap, I've stuck with them. I find their site easy to navigate and their customer service is very good.

I'm relatively new to IM and was so pleased when I was able to transfer DNS to my preferred hosting account. I don't use their hosting service as I have unlimited hosting at another site.

I would definitely recommend NameCheap.

NameCheap since day one

And after 3 years of using NameCheap services I would say from day one: Easy, professional, cheap-NameCheap! I have 10 registered domains there for my business, family and shared with my friends too. When I saw their great domain packages I thought in my head, if domains are this great, why I am buying hosting somewhere else? So I started using their Hosting also. For a little less than 40 dollars a month I get everything I need for my sites, and customer service is always there. I would strongly recommend this site for anyone who wants great hosting or domains.

Cheap and Great!

As a consumer, I have used many domain name registers, but NameCheap has knocked them all out cold! The customer support and service is just great. They will answer your questions very quickly and will get you on the road to success. I cannot believe how fast it loads and how it offers free Whois guard! The best part is that it is cheaper than breakfast, only $2.99 for a year! I am definitely satisfied on how this whole thing works and I love it. I previously used GODaddy.com and NameCheap has definitely destroyed it. Namecheap is definitely Legit! I have spent countless hours trying to find a good, reliable domain name and I have finally found it, NameCheap. I give this an A++!

Best on the web

I have used many domain name registrars but this definitely blows them all out of the water. NameCheap offers the best service with the most freebies (privacy guard, anyone?) out of any registrar currently available. If you are in need of a domain name, by all means, skip going to your local coffee shop for a single week and see how long you'll be able to stay registered with NameCheap with the money you saved! I guarantee you'll be amazed! I very highly recommend this service to anyone and everyone!

Very good domain register

I like the namecheap.com domain registration service, it is easy to use, the support is always friendly and helps me. The prices are very good and they often offer some kind of promotions, for example I remember I bought a domain from them for less than $2 :) Now they also provide cheap domains like the .info which costs only $2.99 per year! I am really satisfied with them!

Best service of it's kind

I have purchased many domains from this service and it has all been a breeze. Previous to this I used GoDaddy.com for my domains but this has to be 10x better. This service loads faster and offers free Whois guard for the first year unlike GoDaddy. The best part is that it's cheaper than buying a coffee, so anyone can easily purchase a domain.

Best deals, best service, no questions asked.

NameCheap Over GoDaddy!

I rate harshly and NameCheap Deserves an "A". The services that NameCheap provides are dirt cheap, and you can not find that anywhere these days. Many people sell products just to get money, but NameCheap actually cares for their customers by having cheap prices. They by far have the cheapest prices for domain names. I have looked for many weeks at a time to find the cheapest prices for domain names, and I came out with NameCheap. I use the monthly coupon and it saved me a ton of money. I use NameCheap to open up many sites for selling beats and songs.

I have had no better service done when it compares to Name Cheap.

If you are looking to open a site up, I recommend you going with NameCheap. I promise you will not regret it.

And best of all they are giving out free domain names for up to a year!

NameCheap vs GoDaddy: NameCheap 100 times over

I don't know how many A+'s I can give this service. After using GoDaddy exclusively for a few years, I registered a domain for $8.81 with NameCheap. Since then, I have registered around 300 domains, all for $8.81 or less, using their monthly coupon codes.

Always check their forums for coupon codes, as you'll save a bit of money, and as their name suggests, you can't find another LEGITIMATE registrar that will charge you less.

Best service I have ever used. I had one hiccup with their service, but it turned out to be PayPals IPN service. So, if you are wanting a cheap domain with a one-year FREE whois protection service (And right now they are offering a 1-year free SSL certificate for each new domain registered), NameCheap is the most reliable service, who won't give up your blocked WhoIs information upon a request (without a subpoena) like GoDaddy does.

Not just a domain seller

Namecheap is not just a domain name registrar. They are a fully featured registrar offering products and services such as, Domain names (of course), Transfers, Free DNS, Webhosting and too many more to list. 8 years ago I was completely new to the internet and internet marketing. I wanted a domain name and Namecheap was one of the cheapest I could find at 8.88/yr. Today they are still one of the cheaper registrars, currently at 9.69/yr per domain name. I have never had any type of problems from them. When ever I had a question a response was quick and accurate. I never get more than one or two emails per month from them other than friendly reminders that my domain names are soon to expire and I should renew them. I would highly recommend their services. Hope you found this review helpful.

Best domain registrar ever!

I've just bought my domain last week from NameCheap. It was really easy to use this service. Their customer service helped me a lot, so everything went smooth. Apparently their domains are quite cheap. 7-10 bucks per year is a hard to beat price! Furthermore they gave me one year of WhoisGuard privacy protection for absolutely free! I pretty much love using their service. The interfaces are very user-friendly and their live support helps me a lot, as I mentioned before. I am very new to this, but I feel like an expert!

I definitely recommend this service to anyone who wants to start a site! It's the easiest, and I think the cheapest way to get a domain!

Namecheap always provide the best service to customers

Provides both the domain and hosting is a way of namecheap to always provide the best service to customers, with prices on offer hosting, namecheap provides solutions for customers who want a cheap domain and hosting with quality.

When I tried namecheap hosting, I'm interested in unlimited subdomain service. For me, provide limits on the bandwidth is not a serious problem. My first blog did not spend 60 GB bandwidth per month. The biggest advantage we can get from namecheap is unlimited subdomains. As with a non-master to bring visitors to your blog, of course, the easiest alternative is to make a lot of blogs that can collect a lot of visitors from various niches.

And I thought, namecheap hosting is the right choice.

Decent Buy but Might Not be Reliable

Name Cheap is so far the only product that delivered what I expected. I am running many programs and so far I have had not problems, I even upgrade to their VPS. The only con is that the support team was not what I expected. If you are hosting many domains Name cheap provides many choices such as POP3, Dns settings and more. I have pro plan that comes with adwords plan and the price is perfect and it come with quality customer support. The biggest pros of name cheap is the speed and price with decent customer service. However I have heard a few cases in which the buyer could not transfer a domain so be aware before you buy this product.
